My son. Peter, ended up doing a research project into Laminar Flow Control by suction during the years 1965 and 1966. This was carried out in coordination with Handley Page and consisted of a laminar fow controlled dorsal fin mounted on the top of an Avro Lincoln bomber powered by four Merlin Engines. Needless to say, his flights over the North Sea in this aircraft and wearing full flight gear gave him some measure of my own times in the air during the war.
